Drawing its name from the town Mangalgiri in Andhra Pradesh, this age-old fabric has been incessantly crafted by the weavers for the past 500 years. A pure cotton weave, this fabric is a perfect summer pick for it is the softest and light cotton variation ever!
This collection features hand-woven printed unstitched Mangalgiri salwar sets. The top (or kurta or kameez) is cotton, woven with 80s count cotton yarn in the warp and weft. The fabric is soft and, when tailored, falls gracefully well. The dupatta or chunni is also hand-woven. The fabric is woven with ‘missing checks’ which makes the fabric light and airy.

Top fabric:- 2.50 mts (Grey coloured handwoven mangalgiri)
Bottom fabric:- 2.00 mts (Pink coloured handwoven cotton)
Dupatta:- 2.50 mts (Pink and grey coloured tie and dye shibori dupatta)
Slight difference in colour may appear due to camera lights.
Wash cotton fabrics separately and with mild detergent.
Dry in shade. Do not soak
As these are handloom fabrics, they may shrink or may bleed excess colours in initial wash.
